Deadlines approaching for cattle contracts
Businesses are being invited to tender for new government contracts for the collection, slaughter, salvage and disposal of cattle infected by bovine tuberculosis (bTB) in England and Wales.
Animal Health, working with Defra and the Welsh Assembly Government, is looking to appoint a number of suitable providers whose services will be made available throughout both countries.
The deadline for expressions of interest and requesting tender documentation is TODAY (Wednesday February 24, 2010) at 2pm. Documentation can be obtained by e-mailing RMP5555TBCattleDisposalFramework@Defra.gsi.gov.uk
Businesses with additional questions relating to the tender will be able to submit them, via the same e-mail address, until 2pm on Wednesday March 3, 2010.
The deadline for businesses to submit tenders is 2pm on Wednesday March 17, 2010.
Businesses will need to offer a range of services to be considered for the new contracts.
