Deliserve MD announces staff changes
Meat supplier Deliserve MD Tim Blandford has announced he will be retiring from his position at the end of March.
Blandford, who set up Newport-based Deliserve 17 years ago along with by Paul Jones, has said Jones will be taking over his position at the end of the month on top of two promotions within the company.
He said: “We have promoted two employees from within to the Board of Directors. Neil Jones joined the company within the first 6 months and has vast experience in the meat trade and will become Sales Director. Simon Blandford, my son, has a degree in Food Marketing and Business from Harpers Adams University College and joined the company six years ago and will now take up the roll of Operations Director.”
Deliserve was established in 1993 and supplies bacon, fresh and cooked meats to the retail and catering trade.
The company said it covers an area from Aberystwyth in the west through mid Wales to the Midlands and all of the southwest of England excluding Cornwall.
Blandford added: “We have built the business on service and always instill in our staff that the customer is our most important asset.
“Although retiring I will remain a director and I am confident with young blood in the company and Paul Jones as Managing Director the company’s future is secure and we will continue never to be complacent and always strive to improve our service and range of products for the customer’s needs.”
