Burger King's premium offering will be challenging the current World Record for the most expensive burger, held by Daniel Boulud and the DB Double Truffle Burger (NYC, 1994) priced at £65.
Developed by Mark Dowding, director of new product development and innovation, Burger King EMEA, THE Burger is made from some of the world's finest premium ingredients, including: flame-grilled Wagyu Beef, white truffles, Cristalchampagne onion straws, Pata Negra ham, drizzled in Modena Balsamic Vinegar, organic white wine and shallot-infused mayonnaise and pink Himalayan rock salt, all found inside an Iranian saffron and white truffle dusted bun.
Burger King's THE Burger was available to purchase in the company's Gloucester Road outlet on yesterday and, due to its rare and exquisite ingredients, can also be pre-ordered on a hotline number 0800 756 6629 from today (19 June).
