Burgers made easy thanks to Rowlett Rutland

Surrey-based Rowlett Rutland has launched a meat and vegetarian burger press for patties up to 25mm thick, called 'OMBT'.

Two counter-top models are available: the OMBT 10, which produces a burger with a diameter of 100mm; and the OMBT 13 with a 130mm diameter. Both are made from stain-resistant, anodised aluminium. The parts in contact with the burger are manufacturedin stainless steel and each model comes with an initial supply of cellophane papers.

Users simply load the ingredients and put pressure on the lever to compress. As the lever returns to the start position, it opens the press, allowing the finished burger to be removed on its non-stick cellophane paper.
