Holland’s Pies launches first TV ad for 10 years

Holland’s Pies is now looking to promote itself to a new customer outside of its heartland region for the first time in the company’s 159-year history.

Coinciding with Holland's association with 50 years of ITV show Coronation Street, the ad features three limited-edition products and will communicate the key brand message 'Proper' through the story of an authentic pie-maker.

The campaign is running on ITV1 in Yorkshire and Central regions and is the brand’s first TV commercial for over 10 years.

Creative agency hôme, has created a brand new tv ad for Lancashire pie company Holland’s Pies.

Robin Walker of Holland Pies brand owner Northern Foods, said: "The launch of our limited-edition frozen Corrie pies represented a key opportunity for us to attract new customers and the advertising creative that hôme has developed communicates all of our key messages effectively."

Richard Marson, creative strategy director for hôme, said: "Holland's is a great brand with incredible brand awareness in the north west.

"The challenge now is to replicate that success across the country and this ad is the first step in bringing proper pies and puds to the nation."
