Diary dates from Bpex
In 2011, chefs, butchers and retailers all stand to benefit from the exciting calendar of ‘porky’ promotional weeks, from Bpex.
From 21 to 27 March, bacon lovers will unite to celebrate the fifth annual Bacon Connoisseurs’ Week, which is dedicated to highlighting the range of premium quality bacon available and its wide variety of uses.
From 31 October to 6 November it will be British Sausage Week 2011. This week is one of the most popular calendar events, and British Sausage Week is embraced by everyone – chefs, retailers and consumers alike.
It provides a unique platform to promote your own premium and speciality sausage varieties, and boost sales.
More details will be available in due course. However, Bpex is urging industry to make a note these of these dates in its diary.
