Quality Meat Scotland conference booking still open
Meat producers looking for the latest technology to improve their efficiency will need to act quickly to snap up the last few places at the upcoming Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) R&D Conference.
The free conference, which takes place on 19 January 2011 at Murrayshall House Hotel, Scone, Perth, features results and reviews of some of the research work aimed at improving efficiency and profitability at every stage of the Scottish red meat production chain.
Spaces at the conference are free, but are limited, so to book your place early just fill in the form at www.qmscotland.co.uk, email skinniburgh@Qmscotland.co.uk or call 0131 472 4044.
QMS has arranged one of the biggest ever selections of speakers for the event, and a range of topics relevant to people throughout the industry from disease control and animal health to the latest efficiency boosting technologies as well as work at the processor side to improve eating quality.
Andy McGowan, QMS head of industry development, said: “The team behind the conference this year have put together a packed and varied programme for the day which should give people throughout the food chain the chance to improve their efficiency.
“Ensuring that producers are kept abreast of the recent developments in the sector is one way for us to help improve their profitability at a time of rising input prices.
“To keep yourself at the cutting edge of the industry, make sure you book early as there are only a few places left.”
