Peter’s Food Service strengthens team

Peter’s Food Service, the UK manufacturers of pies, pasties and sausage rolls, has appointed two key positions to its managerial team from rival Holland’s Pies.

The appointments of Ian Collins, as area sales manager for the north west of England, and Ian Jannion, as business development representative follows Neil Court Johnson’s appointment to the post of managing director of the company’s new foodservice division.

The former MD of Holland’s Pies said he was thrilled with his first appointments and the early signs of progress.

He said: “For a long time, Peter’s has presented an exceptional opportunity to develop nationally. In attracting two ‘best in class’ professionals of unrivalled quality, we deliver a clear signal of intent to everyone in the industry that we are determined to realise this potential.

“My priority is to establish Peter’s as the innovative, can-do, ideas brand within the foodservice sector that people want to work with and work for. In doing so, we aim to ensure that we meet all our customers’ needs as we develop new markets in stadia, forecourts, leisure and retail.”

Peter’s Food Service began life as a small pie manufacturer in south Wales and now produces more than three million delicious pastries every week and employs 700 people with an annual turnover of £65m.
