Outlook Conference to assess CAP reform impact

The annual Outlook Conference to assess the forthcoming prospects for the UK meat industry is set to be held in London on 27 April.

The event, organised by both Bpex and Eblex, will take place at One Great George Street, Westminster, London and covers the whole of the red meat supply chain. This year’s conference will take a look at the European perspective with what CAP reform proposals will mean to the red meat sector, as well supply and demand forecasts to 2012.

Some details are still to be finalised, but information on how to book will be available at the beginning of March. Market intelligence senior analyst Mark Topliff said: “This conference is an absolute must for those working in the red meat industry. The information available at the event is vital to help people make sound business decisions.

“We want to see as many people as possible at this year’s conference as the whole industry has to cope with the volatility of different market sectors.”
