Finalists revealed as M&PPA date gets closer

Meat and poultry processing awards 2011

The judging is now complete and MTJ is proud to reveal a broad range of superb finalists for the Meat & Poultry Processing Awards 2011.

Building on the success of last year's debut, the awards this year saw more than a 50% jump in the level of entries, with companies from right across the UK competing for a title across seven categories.

Ed Bedington, editor of MTJ, which organises the awards, said: "The judges have had a tough job in selecting our winners and finalists, but it was well worth it. It wasn't just the entry numbers that were high, the standard of competition was superb as well, and we're pleased to see there are so many strong businesses out in the processing sector.
