Foxbury plans a love burger
Foxbury Farm Shop, the Oxfordshire-based outfit that rears its own beef, lamb and pork, has developed a new burger for Valentine’s Day.
The award-winning shop is following a secret receipe for the burger, and farmer Colin Dawes is also giving each sheep a heart of its own, by marking their wool.
Foxbury’s new farm shop was part grant-funded by the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE), run by Defra and the EU and the shop, which has been trading for 10 years, sells more than 100 products – 85% of which are local and 95% British.
All of the Foxbury Love Burgers will be made by hand and a limited selection of Foxbury meat can be purhcased via mail order at www.foxburyfarm.co.uk.
