NBW: shop launches online answer service
A Scarborough-based butcher is aiming to enlighten his customers during National Butchers’ Week with an innovative feature on his website.
DJ Horsley Falsgrave is offering an online 'ask the butcher' service to all customers and will be posting answers to common questions throughout the week, from explanations on cooking temperatures to the differences between red and white meat.
The shop will also be running a series of special offers to give customers something to get their teeth into during the week.
Dajve Green, who runs the butcher's website, said: “Anything that helps promote local butchers has got to be a worthwhile cause to get behind. Also, anything to helps educate people that tofu isn’t a meat is also a good thing.”
