Kay steps down from NPA

Barney Kay, director of the National Pig Association, has announced plans to step down and move over to a role with the National Farmers’ Union.

Kay, who has been with the NPA since 2005, will take up the position of north-east region director with the NFU.

The news was announced this morning at a meeting of the NPA Producer Group, and chairman Stewart Houston paid tribute to Kay’s contribution to the organisation.
