Porky Whites launches mainstream sausages

Porky Whites is moving into the mainstream with a launch of a plainer sausage range aimed at the family market.

The premium sausage company uses a 70-year-old family recipe with herbs and spice to produce unique flavours. Its new line is a more lightly seasoned product with a marginally higher meat content.

Chris Price, managing director of Graham White & Co, said: Were trying to offer more in the range from the Porky White brand and tap into a market that weve not traditionally been in.

We have a big fan base but a lot of people dont like high herb content, so its a good opportunity to do a sausage with not as much seasoning.

The company is launching its new products in a 756g value family pack which will be available at Tesco, as well as its standard 454g pack. Both pack sizes will be available at Asda.
