Country Food supplies Darlington FC

Country Valley Foods has teamed up with Darlington Football Club to supply premium matured local beef and lamb to fans and corporate guests.

The partnership originated from an open evening, hosted by Eblex at Darlington’s home ground, which showcased Country Valley Food’s produce.

Helen Todd, head chef of Darlington Football Club, said: “We offer large conferencing and events facilities here at Darlington and the Grand Reserve local beef and lamb is proving a huge hit. We wanted to provide a quality, local and consistent product for our customers, and using a local company like Country Valley, which is situated less than a mile from us, gives us a regular and flexible service”

Grand Reserve beef and lamb is produced in partnership with a select group of local farmers, using animals that are naturally grazed and traditionally finished, before being aged for a minimum of 21 days. It conforms to the strict Eblex quality specifications.

The Grand Reserve range is available exclusively through Country Valley Foods, supplied to caterers or via their retail butcher, Newboulds.
