Hsin Huang takes over at IMS
The International Meat Secretariat has announced the appointment of Hsin Huang as its new secretary general.
Hsin takes over the role from outgoing secretary general Laurence Wrixon, who retires later this year, and joins from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD), where he has most recently been spearheading climate change analysis within its Trade & Agriculture directorate.
IMS president Arturo Llavallol said: “I am delighted to welcome Hsin Huang to the IMS, he bring with him an extensive experience and understanding of the key issues confronting the meat and livestock industry internationally.
“Hsin’s knowledge of the environmental challenges facing the industry will be invaluable to our members throughout the world.”
