ITV seeks butchers for new TV series
Television producers are looking for butchers interested in going on a mini-break for a new ITV series.
The programme, The Great British Taste Tour, will see four strangers embark on an all expenses-paid short holiday to a picturesque location somewhere in the UK, producers said.
Participants will be expected to enjoy the local cuisine, explore the surrounding locations and show off their own cooking abilities, all with the aim of netting a £1,000 prize.
Tom Strong, from ITV Studios, said: “We are looking for broad range of people who all share a real passion or interest in food.
“We are looking to cast some people who work within the meat industry, ideally some butchers and possibly some farmers or people who deal with cattle or livestock.”
