Ishida introduces new checkweighers
Ishida Europe has launched a new range of checkweighers, which it claims takes checkweighing “to a new level of effectiveness”.
The Ishida DACS-G range features a new fast and accurate digital load cell, which can switch between two weighing capacities and graduations, giving each model in the range the flexibility to handle a much larger product range. The DACS-G 015 model can be switched between a maximum capacity of 600g (0.2g graduation) to 1.5kg (0.5g graduation), while the DACS-G 060 offers a switching between 3kg (1g graduation) and 6kg (2g graduation) ranges.
Ishida says the load cell is “able to operate with great reliability in the harshest of environments”. The checkweighers also feature a Dislocating Force Limiter, which automatically disconnects the weigh sensor from the weigh conveyor should sudden excessive force be applied – for example, during cleandown, and an easy turn-and-press operating dial, which eliminates the potential for operator error and can be used while wearing gloves, saving time and helping to maintain hygiene.
The DACS-G’s are constructed from stainless steel with an open-frame design and quick-remove conveyor to allow for fast cleaning with reduced downtime. All models are certified according to the European MID specification and can be specified with a fully integrated CEIA metal detector.
