BHJ UK celebrates management success
Tipton meat ingredients specialist BHJ UK Protein Foods is celebrating after three senior managers gained advanced NVQ awards.
The company’s distribution and services manager Mandy Talbot, national account manager Tom Cooke and engineering manager Andrew Homer have achieved NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management. The qualification is organised in partnership with regional training specialist Business Development Midlands (BDM), and is designed to help employers maximise their resources by supporting the future development of senior managers.
BHJ UK sales director Richard Parnell said: “We are delighted with the success of our employees in completing their NVQ qualification. Our best assets are the people who work for us as part of the BHJ team. Their personal development in key areas such as leadership and management is crucial to the overall efficiency and operation of our business.”
Cooke said: “Being able to further progress our skills and performance within our individual roles at BHJ has been extremely rewarding. It has given us the opportunity to work closer as a team to improve our overall communication.”
