Eblex export conference shines spotlight on Africa

13 June, 2012

Prospects for beef and lamb exports to Africa will form the focus for the Eblex Export Conference this year.

Attendees will discover more about the growing demand for beef and lamb in third world countries, as well as learning how to brand for success.

Eblex export manager Jean-Pierre Garnier said: “Export activity plays a key part in Eblex’s work and our conference will highlight the important role it can play for producers and processors as the global demand for beef and lamb gathers pace.”

The free event is now in its eighth year and will be held at the Arthur Rank Centre, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, on 26 June.

Eblex will also give an overview of its export activities to date and will include presentations on prospects for exports of beef and lamb to various areas in sub-Saharan Africa.

Further information and a full programme for the event can be downloaded from the events section of the Eblex website www.eblex.org.uk.
