An animal health institution has announced it will be renaming itself.

The Institute for Animal Health (IAH) has announced it will change its name to the Pirbright Institute when it moves to Pirbright in Surrey.

The two organisations will be creating a “state-of-the-art” facility on one campus at Pirbright, where they will carry out surveillance and research into virus diseases of livestock, including those that spread from animals to humans.

According to the institute, its name will change and, with it, the registered head office will move to Pirbright and a new logo will be created.
