ANM finds buyer for Yorkshire Premier

ANM Group has confirmed that it has a serious buyer for its Yorkshire Premier Meat business.

A spokesman for the company said it had entered a period of exclusive negotiations with a potential purchaser, but that the buyer would remain confidential until negotiations were concluded. He confirmed that trading at the Kirby-based business would continue as normal.

The company announced that its two meat processing businesses, Yorkshire Premier business and Scotch Premier Meat, were to be sold in July, following a difficult trading period. It said it wanted to focus on its auction and valuation businesses and that, overall, the company was in a “sound financial position”.
