Future of Livestock Farming event details
The National Farmers Union (NFU) has announced its line-up of speakers for a conference aimed at the under-40s working in the beef and sheep sector.
According to the NFU, the Future of Livestock Farming Event will be hosted by NFU vice-president Adam Quinney and national livestock board chairman Charles Sercombe on 10 December 2012.
One of the questions on the agenda is: ‘How 21st Century Beef and Sheep Farmers can Feed the Nation?’
Helping to answer the question are a series of industry experts, including head of agriculture at HSBC Alan Wilkinson, Emeritus Professor of Food Marketing at Imperial College, London David Hughes, and director of Westpoint Farmer Vets Jon Mouncey.
