Moy Park recognised in UK’s Corporate Responsibility Index
One of Europe’s leading food companies, Moy Park, is the first company in the poultry industry to be recognised in the UK’s corporate responsibility index (CR Index).
The UK CR Index, in which Moy Park was announced as a bronze company, is the UK’s leading voluntary benchmark of corporate responsibility, and is recognised worldwide.
Moy Park human resources and business improvement director Mike Mullan said: “We are really delighted to have been recognised for our achievements in corporate responsibility. Our ranking on the CR Index is the latest accolade to acknowledge Moy Park’s responsible approach to business. It is not only a first for a Northern Irish business, but also a first for the UK’s poultry industry.
The index helps companies measure and manage their social and environmental performance, and shape how they integrate and benchmark themselves against competitors.
“I am really proud of everyone in the Moy Park team for their dedication, hard work and for maintaining such high standards to ensure we continue to lead the way in the industry. We look forward to building on this achievement as we continue to implement and invest in sustainable business practices,” Mullan added.
Moy Park’s bronze level indicates the company was able to show effective stakeholder engagement, effective processes and reliable data.
