From the bakery shops to the director’s board room, the documentary series will investigate all aspects of what it’s like to be a member of the Greggs family, featuring some of its 20,000 staff.
Mentorn Media will be making the series, which will run over the course of eight episodes. Executive producer Neil Grant said: "What a fantastic opportunity and privilege to make a fun access series behind the scenes with the nation’s high street icon – this will be popular television at its very best."
Sky’s commissioning editor for factual programming Siobhan Mulholland said: "This is going to be a warm-hearted and fascinating insight into a much-loved British institution. The access is impressive; the cameras will be in the shops, following the delivery trucks, following characters and even in the usually confidential tasting labs. It will be a television treat for Sky Customers."
The series will begin Monday 29 April and will be aired on Sky 1 and Sky 1 HD.
