Red Tractor banners take message to UK public
A banner campaign is set to roll out across the UK in a bid to encourage greater public trust in the Red Tractor Assurance scheme.
The Trust the Tractor campaign, organised by Red Tractor Assurance and the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board (AHDB), will see 15ftx4ft banners displayed on farms across the country.
Richard Cattell, head of marketing and communications, Red Tractor Assurance, said: “Now, more than ever, it’s important to know the food you are buying comes from a trusted source. All products that carry the Red Tractor mark meet responsible production standards and are traceable back to independently inspected farms. It’s the easiest way for consumers to be sure of the provenance of the food they are buying.
“The banner campaign will enable us to tell the British public why it is important to trust the Red Tractor in an eye-catching and memorable way. The banners, however, are just the start; we’ve got a whole raft of high-profile above- and below-the-line marketing activity planned for this year.”
The scheme is designed to run concurrently with the National Farmers’ Union’s own banner blitz, part of it’s ongoing #buybritish campaign.
