Tesco teams up with JCDecaux for digital ad campaign

Tesco is due to team up with JCDecaux for a digital advertising campaign, which will see customers exposed to digital screens outside 400 of Tesco’s stores.

The move was confirmed by the French JCDecaux’s managing director Spencer Berwin at the Brand Republic’s Media360 last week and advertisers will be given the choice to target its audience by the time of the day.

This is considered a great opportunity for advertisers, as they will then be able to target a wider but more specific market, according to when they are shopping.

Meanwhile, Tesco is to open up a hypermarket of 82,000sq ft on Margate seafront in Kent after being approved by the Communities Secretary Eric Pickles.
