Food experts to dine on Welsh Lamb at Oxford University
Welsh Lamb will be presented to food industry experts at the Symposium on Food and Cookery at Oxford University this week.
Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) is donating lamb for the event, which will host more than 200 chefs, journalists, scientists, scholars and foodies.
Welsh Lamb will be the main course at the dinner, prepared by chef and columnist Stevie Parle, and will take place after the lecture on the opening night.
HCC’s brand marketing executive Philippa Gill said: “We are delighted that the organisers of the Oxford Symposium have chosen to use Welsh Lamb for the main course on the opening night.
“It’s great news for Welsh producers that influential people from the food world will be dining on Welsh Lamb, and I’m sure the delicious meal they will enjoy will offer inspiration over the rest of the weekend.”
