Butchery course on offer in Denmark
Published:  08 August, 2013

A four-day butchery course will be held in Denmark in September at the Danish Meat Trade College in Roskilde.

The course, organised by the Institue of Meat, will be available to experienced people in the industry and will be financed by the Worshipful Company of Butchers and includes course materials, meals and accommodation. However, guests will have to pay for their own travel and insurance.

Good practical knife skills are required, and a health declaration form will also have to be passed in order to attend.

The butchery course is part of a series of events held by the Institute of Meat and will aim to educate butchers working in the industry even further.

Keith Fisher, of the Institute of Meat, said: “This is a really great opportunity, so get in touch as soon as possible if you would like to attend.”

It takes place on 23-26 September and further information can be found at www.instituteofmeat.org when logging into the members’ pages.
