Farming Minister to speak at AHDB Outlook Conference

Next year’s AHDB Outlook conference will see Food and Farming Minister George Eustice address representatives from the beef, lamb, pork and dairy supply chains.

Eustice will deliver the opening address at the conference, which is due to take place on 12 February.

He will be joined on the main stage by vice-president supply chain for McDonald’s Warren Anderson and director of GIRA Richard Brown, while the conference will also feature other separate breakout sessions.

AHDB chairman John Godfrey said: “The AHDB Outlook Conference is a key fixture in the industry calendar and we are delighted that the Minister and a number of leading experts from the industry will be joining us at the event to speak on key issues that are important and relevant to our levy payers.

“Market intelligence plays a crucial role in helping shape key business decisions, and the conference will focus on issues that are seen to be instrumental to the development of the beef, sheep, pig and dairy industries over the next year.”
