Dunbia strengthens China link

Dunbia Northern Ireland has deepened its commitment to China by joining the Prime Minister David Cameron on his trade mission to the country this week.

Cameron’s 120-strong trade mission, which is also playing host to Environment Secretary Owen Paterson, aims to develop business links between the two countries, as well as to demonstrate the UK’s good feelings towards China.

Jack Dobson, joint managing director for Dunbia, is part of the PM’s delegation and will be pushing beef, lamb and pork products and is following in the footsteps of Northern Ireland Executive First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness, who visited China in May.

The delegation will visit Beijing and Shanghai, as well as other major cities.
