Innovation conference launched

In a unique new partnership Meat Trades Journal has teamed up with sister titles The Grocer, British Baker and Food Manufacture to organise and host an exciting new conference looking into the future of the trade.

The event, New Frontiers in Food and Drink, aims to look at the cutting edge when it comes to innovation across the sector. Aimed at thought leaders throughout the food manufacturing and retailing arena, the programme aims to enhance, embrace and encourage thinking and ideas.

Some of the speakers on board include Professor Arnold van Huis who will be highlighting the opportunities around using insects as food, while keynote speaker Dr Morgaine Gaye, a Food Futurologist and director of bellwether: Food Trends, will provide insight into food and eating from a social, cultural, economic, trend, branding and geo-political perspective.

The event, which will also feature round table discussions, break out sessions and taste testing, takes place at etc.venues St Pauls, 200 Aldersgate, on 26 June.
