TOP DUTCH and Belgian hoteliers and restaurateurs got the taste of superior quality beef and lamb when the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) put on a display at a gourmet food fair in Maastricht.
Stars at the European Fine Food Fair were Cotswold lamb and Aberdeen Angus St Georges beef. The appearance at the show on January 23 - 25 was part of a campaign to demonstrate the English beef on offer as one of the ?nest on Continenta markets and to prepare for the ending of regulations on UK beef exports.
