'Fantastic backing' for Breakfast Week

FARMHOUSE BREAKFAST Week which promoted the message 'Make time for breakfast' was supported this year by 1,500 events.

Organised by the Home Grown Cereals Authority (HGCA), the campaign draws support from all stages of the food chain - from farmers to processors to retailers.

Planning has already started for Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2007 which will run from January 21- 27. Speaking for the HGCA, Rebecca Geraghty, said: "The backing from the agriculture and food industries for this year's Farmhouse Breakfast has been fantastic."
