Charlton Athletic make new signing

05 November, 2008

Charlton Athletic Football Club has signed a deal with Peter's Pie to supply product for its fixtures.

The company's pies are already stocked in a number of football clubs and stadiums throughout the UK and the new partnership comes just as the company launches a new range of premier pies, pasties and sausage rolls.

The new Premier Pie range is down to two years of planning and £100,000 worth of investment and has already proven popular.

James Osgood, marketing director at Peters Food, said: "We are thrilled to win the Charlton business which is testimony to the high quality of the new Peter's Premier Pies and first class food service.

"Pies and football are synonymous with each other, and after increasing pie sales at other grounds by 33% this year, we are confident of achieving something similar at Charlton through our focused approach to marketing and product experience in stadiums."

Paul Ellison, Charlton AFC food and hospitality manager said: "We are very pleased to start a partnership with Peter's based on great products and service and are looking forward to developing new ways of serving our fans at The Valley."
