STUDENT, Elizabeth Spooner, is undertaking a PhD to gain greater understanding of internal parasites in sheep as part of HCC's research and development scholarship portfolio. She will carry out her studies at the Institue of Rural Sciences om Aberystwyth.
HCC contributes to a rolling programme of 12 research and development scholarships to widen scientifc research and develop specialist personnel for the red meat industry in Wales. Further support comes from Europe and the IRS.
