Third Generation Joins Company Board

Frozen food wholesaler MKG Foods has appointed Andrew Jefferson as a director making him the first member of the third generation of the Mayling family to achieve board status.

The company was founded in 1950, principally by Lewis Mayling and the business has for many years been run by the second generation of the family.

Jefferson has overseen the development of the range of products offered by MKG Foods.

Managing director, of MKG Foods, Robert Mayling, said: "With his attention to quality, pricing and range he is leading the company's significant expansion in the independent catering market alongide our service to the cost sector."
