The Traditional Pork Sausage contains no flavour enhancers or colourants, relying on a 78% pork content, plus pepper, rosemary and sage to give it its meaty texture and taste. The pork is all sourced from the South of England.

The sausage has a high protein level of 14.9g per 100g, a low saturated fat content and salt level below FSA guidelines.

Charles Baughan, marketing director at Westaways said: "Today's consumers are well informed about the choices they make and they want to know that the food they eat is wholesome without flavour enhancers and colourants.
