Hybu Cig Cymru-Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) is encouraging consumers to celebrate Christmas with family and friends this year by dining on Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef with a special Christmas edition recipe leaflet, and other promotional point of sale material.
The recipe leaflet, that is now available in retail shops across Wales, features dishes such as Welsh Rib Eye Steak with Clementine and Black Pepper Butter, Welsh Sirloin of Beef with Horseradish and Rosé Wine Glaze, Festive Welsh Lamb Curry and Welsh Lamb Racks stuffed with lamb, leek, cranberry and pistachio stuffing.
Posters and stickers featuring the strap line "An Invitation to celebrate Christmas with family and friends", has also been distributed to retailers to compliment the recipe leaflets.
Graham Titchener, HCC's consumer executive said: "These recipes form an integral part of the retailers Christmas sales and we always receive positive feedback on them. Consumers are always eager to try something new during the festive period and this recipe leaflet has something to suit all tastes."
