Brindon Addy impressed judges with his sound understanding of meat quality and taste and his commitment to his supply base.
He took the award, which was sponsored by Meat Trades Journal, ahead of strong competition from other butchers, supermarket buyers and leading foodservice operators.
Other winners on the day included sausage supplier Debbie & Andrews who took the award for innovation.
