Butchers looking into selling cakes and desserts are encouraged to look no further than with this new dessert kit from Belgium pastry specialist Pidy.

The Tarto Presto packs allows staff members of all levels to create their own tantalising desserts simply by adding a layer of Crème Patissière to each tart and topping with any combination of fruit. The tarts will be an instant hit with customers of all ages, said Pidy, and the colourful end-product never fails to attract in the shop window or on a shelf display.

Pidy's Crème Patissière is claimed to have a balanced flavour and the creamy texture complements the crisp pastry and fruit. It is low in fat (3%) and preservative-free.
