Food and drink badge of excellence
The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) awards have been opened for entry.
The awards give food and drinks companies an opportunity to compete and show which firms are leading the way.
The categories include: Innovation, Good Employer, Environmental Leadership, Growth Business, Community Partner, Exporter of the Year, Health and Wellbeing Champion and Education Initiative.
The Apprentice of the Year will be joined by new individual categories for scientists and engineers.
FDF’s economics and commercial services director Steve Barnes explained: "The FDF awards will be a badge of excellence, showing that, in a competitive industry, a company is best-in-class. Customers and suppliers look for third-party endorsements to see how retailers measure up.
"Our work on skills shows us how many talented, dedicated people there are working in food and drink, which has inspired a number of new individual categories, so you can nominate colleagues who are high-achievers and real ambassadors for our industry."
To submit, please visit www.fdf.org.uk/fdf-awards.aspx or enter by post before the competition closes on 10 May 2013.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Vinopolis in London on 14 November.
