UK food and farming minister to address AHDB conference
The Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) Outlook Conference 2014 has confirmed that 100 delegates have already booked their places at this year’s event.
The conference, jointly hosted by Bpex, DairyCo and Eblex, as well as AHDB’s three livestock divisions and AHDB Market Intelligence, will feature a range of topics looking at factors relevant to the pig, dairy, beef and sheep sectors.
Highlights include an address from Food and Farming Minister George Eustice MP, and presentations by McDonald’s director of supply chain Connor McVeigh and GIRA director Richard Brown.
The conference will also examine how the UK industry can respond to emerging opportunities and threats. Break-out sessions will focus on the latest forecasts specific to each sector.
The event will take place at One Great George Street in London on 12 February.
