Places at Eblex Processor Conference going fast
Around 30 delegates have already confirmed attendance at the Eblex Processor Conference in March.
The conference will be held on 6 March in Stratford-upon-Avon and will focus on meat quality and hygiene.
The upcoming changes to the EU and UK meat hygiene regulations will be looked at, while discussions will take place on the modernisation of the current meat inspection system.
Texas A&M University’s head of meat science, Professor Jeff Savell, will give delegates an insight into issues in the American meat industry, and they will also get the chance to taste and give feedback on new steak cuts developed by Eblex.
The conference will also cover technology to improve health and welfare, and electrical inputs and the impact on meat quality.
Dr Phil Hadley, Eblex senior southern regional manager, said: “Uptake for our processor conference has been very encouraging and time is running out to register. The conference is the ideal forum for those in the processing sector to discuss key technical industry issues and gain an insight into some of Eblex’s cuts development work.”
