Yorkshire Dales Meat extends bacon deal with Asda
After good sales figures since going into Asda stores in the north of England last summer, the Yorkshire Dales Meat Company’s bacon will be going into 10 additional Asda branches.
The bacon will be on sale in Hessle, Kingswood, Adel, Radcliffe, Scunthorpe, Hull (Bilton), Rotherham, Stockton, Hartlepool and Glasshoughton.
James Knox, financial director of Yorkshire Dales Meat Company, said: “This is great bacon reared from trusted sources that we’re really proud to see doing so well in Asda stores.
“We hope existing customers continue to enjoy the bacon, and that shoppers at the stores where it has been newly listed will add it to their shopping trolleys, too. It’s a great addition to any breakfast table.”
The Yorkshire Dales Meat Company, where the Knox family has farmed for over a century, is based on its own farm near the village of Patrick Brompton in North Yorkshire.
The business supplies supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, pubs, event venues and the catering trade with a range of meat products.
