Roadshow promotes Welsh meat to visitors
The Welsh Red Meat Roadshow, organised by Hybu Cig Cymru – the meat promotion body for Wales – will make its next stop at Oakwood Theme Park.
The roadshow is stopping at visitor attractions in Wales throughout the summer to promote Welsh red meat to visitors to Wales.
Elwen Roberts, HCC consumer executive, said: “Oakwood Park attracts thousands of visitors every year, so we are really looking forward to showing them the quality and versatility of red meat from Wales.
“We hope that people enjoy the free tasters that will be handed out, and will be keen to try the recipes themselves once they go home.”
The roadshow has already visited attractions such as the Senior Open Championship in Porthcawl. Alongside tasters, visitors will be offered a free souvenir booklet containing all the recipes that will be demonstrated on the mobile trailer, as well as information on Wales’ sustainable farming practices.
