Makeover for Hazlemere butcher’s
A Buckinghamshire butcher’s shop, Halls of Hazlemere, has been refurbished for the first time in almost 30 years.
Halls of Hazlemere, located on Park Parade, has been a member of the national butchers Q Guild since 1996, but the shop had not been refurbished for 28 years, meaning it was “high time” for modernisation, reported owner and master butcher Graham Hall.
The refurbishment included a new serve-over counter and a new self-service counter, showcasing kitchen-ready meal ranges and other products. Environmental considerations included the use of LED lighting, allowing the six butchers to showcase more products, while the look of the shop has been modernised.
“We did our previous revamp around 28 years ago, so thought it was high time for another top-to-toe refurbishment. We have also opened up the back room and this has been a great hit with the customers, as they can see the lads actually butchering and making our homemade products,” explained Hall.
