Moy Park introduces new chicken range
Moy Park has launched a new range of pre-prepared, added-value chicken products under its ‘Good Kitchen’ brand.
The poultry giant said its ‘Good Kitchen’ range includes three ready-to-cook flavour-infused chicken breast products - garlic & herbs; ginger, lime & coriander; and pesto & sunflower seeds. The ‘Good Kitchen’ range will also include three ‘Chef’s Specials’ – straight-to-pan products, “using cooked Moy Park chicken and a selection of sauces inspired by world cuisines, including Szechuan, Thai and Tikka”.
Paul McGurk, Moy Park brand marketing manager, said: “We have developed the ‘Good Kitchen’ range in response to consumer demand for a convenient, high-quality main meal solution. According to research, although people want flavoursome meals, over a third of consumers cook and eat chicken plain, due to a lack of time to prepare dishes from scratch.”
The Good Kitchen range is available in Palmer & Harvey, Costcutter, Mace and Ocado from 18 August, with RRPs of £4.99 for ‘Good Kitchen’ and £3.99 for ‘Good Kitchen Chef’s Specials’.
McGurk added: “Each product in the ‘Good Kitchen’ range is pre-prepared, using locally sourced chicken and a range of flavour combinations, which means consumers can have tasty, flavoursome meals made from fresh chicken that are quick and easy to cook.”
