Halal compliance courses offered
The Halal Food Association’s (HFA) charitable arm, the Halal Food Foundation (HFF) is launching courses in halal compliance training for workers in the meat industry.
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-assured courses are designed to enable industry workers to secure and maintain good commercial relationships with the expanding halal industry.
The courses will cover the basic principles of Islam and halal, halal labelling, halal compliance and its achievability, hazard analysis of critical control points (HACCP) and food fraud.
