Grillstock launches first retail range
BBQ brand Grillstock has partnered with Tulip to introduce its first Smokehouse retail range.
The products, which will be available in all Booth’s stores from the end of January, have been launched after the firm identified a gap in the UK’s retail BBQ sector. It believed the market was dominated by own-label offerings and felt there was an opportunity for a branded offering.
The line includes Grillstock’s BBQ Smokehouse Pulled Pork Joint, BBQ Smokehouse Pork Ribs and BBQ Smokehouse Chicken. The Smokestack burger will join the range in spring 2015.
Grillstock’s co-founder Jon Finch said: “Grillstock is about enjoying a proper BBQ with your friends. It’s that simple. We’re stoked to be launching products that are just like it is in our Smokehouse, using our own custom rubs and sauces. We are delighted that we are now in a position to bring the Smokehouse range to consumers across the UK.”
The company has grown rapidly since it held its first BBQ festival in 2010. Grillstock now has festivals in Bristol and Manchester, and Smokehouse restaurants in Bristol and Bath.
Further festival and Smokehouse launches are expected across the country during 2015.
